Goosander our largest saw billed diving duck. It swims low in the water dipping its head under the water and diving often.

It is found in most of the UK. 

Found on small inland lakes. When breeding prefers upland shallower, fast flowing, clear streams

It nests in holes in trees near water laying between eight and ten eggs
